Which fees apply
Current fees for every qualification, Trustmark Award and Organisational Trustmark are shown on the relevant programme page and in your portal. All fees are in pounds sterling (GBP).
When fees are due
- Application and assessment fee: payable when you apply. Assessment starts once payment is received.
- Award fee: payable only after the Assessment Board approves an award, and before the certificate is issued.
- Renewal or revalidation fee: payable during the 90-day renewal window before your validity date.
How to pay
Use the Pay button in your portal where a payment link is shown. Otherwise pay by the agreed method and upload your receipt in the portal. GCSB never asks for card details by email or phone.
Refunds
- Application and assessment fees are non-refundable once assessment has started, including when an application is unsuccessful.
- If you withdraw before assessment starts, you can ask for a refund of the application fee, less any payment charges.
- No award fee is charged if an award is not approved.
- Award and renewal fees are not refundable once a certificate has been issued or extended.
- If GCSB charges you twice or by mistake, we will refund the extra amount in full.
