The GCSB Accredited Instructor designation recognises experienced education professionals who possess extensive security industry expertise together with demonstrated excellence in professional instruction, learner development and knowledge transfer. The designation is awarded to individuals who have successfully achieved all core GCSB qualifications and have demonstrated a sustained commitment to educating the next generation of security professionals.

Accredited Instructors represent the educational ambassadors of the Global Converged Security Board and support the maintenance of professional standards across the converged security profession.
GCSB Trustmark Award - designation GCSB-AI
- Converged Security Institute (CSI) is the professional development and qualification body.
- Global Converged Security Board (GCSB) is the independent standards, credentialing, accreditation and recognition authority.
- GCSB Trustmark Awards are awarded only to individuals who have demonstrated achievement beyond qualification attainment and membership eligibility.
Trustmark Awards are professional distinctions. They are separate from qualifications, memberships and accreditations.
Eligibility
Individuals only. Open to FCSI members holding all four core qualifications who are actively delivering professional education.
Verification information
Each award carries a unique GCSB verification ID, listed with the holder name, designation, affiliated organisation, country and recognition status in the public Trustmark Registry.
Recognition status
Active while the annual renewal is paid and the holder remains in good standing as an FCSI member.
Renewal requirements
Annual renewal of €45, confirmation of continued FCSI membership and active instruction.
Prerequisites
- Hold all four core qualifications: CSCE, CSP, CSL and CCSO
- Current FCSI membership
- Minimum 15 years professional security experience
- Minimum 2 years professional teaching or training experience
- Recognised instructor qualification
- Actively delivering professional education
- Lecturer status preferred; professorship highly desirable
