Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and the UK Equality Act 2010.
What we have done
- Pages work on phones, tablets and desktops, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
- Pages use headings, labelled forms and links, and can be used with a keyboard.
- Text and background colours are chosen for strong contrast.
- Standards and policies are published as web pages, not only as PDFs.
Known limits
- PDF documents: some downloadable standards and certificates may not be fully accessible to screen readers. The same standards text is available as web pages.
- Uploaded content: papers and documents supplied by authors or applicants may not meet accessibility standards.
