Announcement
The Global Converged Security Board has published the complete Converged Security Framework documentation suite on a dedicated Converged Security Framework page. For the first time, all three layers of the framework are available together in one place: the ten published standards, ten implementation procedures and ten playbook guidelines.
The three layers
- Standards - the mandatory, uniform rules of the framework: the Main Standard, the Strategic Standards for Resilience, seven domain standards and the CCSO Policy, all at Version 2.0.
- Procedures - ten step-by-step implementation procedures (GCSB-PRC series, Version 1.0), each derived from its published standard, fixing who does what, in what order and by when, with the standard's binding clocks preserved.
- Playbook guidelines - ten advisory playbooks (GCSB-GDL series, Version 1.0) showing how to apply each procedure in practice, with worked examples, checklists, records to keep, common pitfalls and measures of success.
Issue control
- Procedures and playbooks: Version 1.0, approved by the Governing Council on 19 October 2026, effective 19 October 2026, next review 19 October 2027.
- Standards: Version 2.0, effective 13 October 2026, unchanged in status.
- Every procedure and playbook names its parent standard; where any document differs, the standard prevails.
Each standard on the framework page is cross-linked to its matching procedure and playbook, so readers can move between the rule, the steps and the practical guidance. The full suite is available on the Converged Security Framework page.
